Licensing
What you're allowed to do with an item you downloaded — and what you aren't.
Every paid item is sold under a license. There are two, and the item page always says which are available.
Single-shop
The default. The item may be used by one shop — your business, at your locations, by your staff, on the jobs you produce.
You may:
- Use it on unlimited commercial jobs
- Install it on the machines your shop uses
- Modify it for your own work
You may not:
- Share it with another shop, business, or individual
- Resell it, or include it in a package you sell
- Post it publicly — a forum, a Facebook group, a Dropbox link
Multi-seat
Some sellers offer a multi-seat license at a higher price, for organizations running Mozaik across multiple shops or locations. If it's available, you'll pick it at checkout with the price shown next to it.
If you're a multi-location business, buy the multi-seat license. It exists precisely so you don't have to choose between overpaying and breaking the terms.
Free items
Free items are free to download and use. They are not yours to resell, repackage, or re-host, and attribution stays with the original seller.
Enforcement, honestly stated
Downloads are licensed to your shop, and we record which order every file came from. A paid file that turns up in a public group can be traced back to the account that downloaded it, and that account gets a strike or a ban.
We'd rather not do that, and mostly we don't have to. The realistic case for buying properly isn't fear of enforcement — it's that this marketplace only keeps producing the things your shop needs if the people making them get paid. A seller whose library gets passed around for free stops making libraries.
Refunds
If an item doesn't import or doesn't work as described, you have 14 days. See refunds.
