Getting started

What mozExchange is, and how to find what your shop needs.

mozExchange is a marketplace for Mozaik Cabinet Software resources, built by the shops that use it. Inserts, products, libraries, profiles and molding, textures and colors, hardware, appliances, windows and doors — free and paid.

The idea is simple: a cabinetmaker in Ohio models a corner lazy-susan insert once, and two thousand shops install it in a click instead of rebuilding it from scratch.

Finding things

Search is the fastest route. It matches titles, descriptions, brands, model numbers, and tags — so BI-36UFD, Blum pullout, and SW Alabaster all work.

Browse by category when you're not sure what you want. You can filter by:

  • Free or paid
  • Rating
  • Mozaik version compatibility — so you don't download something your version can't open
  • Brand — Blum, Sherwin-Williams, Pella, and so on
  • Includes CAM — whether the item is visual-only or shop-ready with machining data

That last one is worth understanding before you buy. A visual-only item looks right in a rendering but has no machining data; a CAM-included item is ready to cut. Both are legitimate, and the item page always says which it is.

Nothing there?

If a search comes up empty, post it on the request board. Requests are how unmet demand turns into new inventory — sellers watch that board, and "I need a Rev-A-Shelf 5372 pullout" has a decent chance of becoming a real item.

Do I need an account?

To browse, no. To download anything — including free items — yes. Downloads are recorded against your account so your library can tell you when a seller ships an update to something you already have.

Signing in never costs you your place. If you click Download while signed out, you sign in and the download starts — you don't get bounced to a login page and lose what you were doing.
